The supplies I have requested may seem strange for a classroom, but maybe strange and creative go hand in hand! Everything will be used to help the students creatively solve problems! The students will be using the sharpies to make signs and add details to costumes. The muslin will be used for costumes, props, backdrops, and anything else the kids can come up with! The glue sticks will be used to attach muslin to the cardboard and the frame. The kids will use the sewing kit to help them create original costumes. The staple gun and staples will come in handy when the kids are attaching things to wooden frames. You can never go wrong with acrylic paint that can be used for face painting and painting muslin for costumes, props, and backdrops! And of course, we have to have duct tape! So, while it may seem weird to fill an elementary school classroom with these supplies, the students will use them to learn and think creatively!
