These materials will help my students to calm themselves in the midst of high anxiety. They will be able to use the Calming Cube to have privacy to calm themselves. They can go inside to quietly think about problems and how to solve them. A weighted blanket is a tool that helps to calm your body when you feel "out of control." When you have a calm mind and a calm body, learning is much easy. Once a student has calmed himself and reset his mind he will be ready to learn. In addition when calming strategies and tools are provided to students, they feel that their teachers care about them.
