My students need Orange Juice, Frito Lay Variety Pack and Bottled Water for a beautiful luncheon to help build their self-worth and continue to try their best. As we are approaching our final weeks of school, we challenge our students until the very end to do their best. One way we continuously challenge our students is by utilizing ALEKS, an adaptive math program that provides each student with a personalized learning path. Through the use of ALEKS, our students are achieving their personal and academic goals while closing the learning gaps in mathematics. To increase our students’ motivation and their learning, class competitions are hosted to acknowledge teamwork and student successes. During the last few weeks of school, we would like to acknowledge students that have met their personal goals on ALEKS with a school-wide luncheon. Working in a low-income community, our students’ deserve recognition and a special meal for going the extra mile in their studies. By celebrating our students' successes, students will feel valued in their classroom community and strive to do more. Please consider to donate to our project so that we can continue to motivate our future leaders to always do their best.
