My students use Chromebooks on a daily basis. Activities such as typing an essay, creating a project in Google Slides, and learning about different topics through a BrainPop video will be more manageable with headphones and a mouse. Not only are these computers used to help with student learning and engagement, but our standardized assessments are now only online. The days of paper and pencil testing are gone.
My students work hard to be successful, but struggle to utilize their Chromebooks effectively. The headphones will be used to listen to stories, watch videos, block out distracting noises and so much more. The mouse will allow my students to efficiently maneuver their Chromebook helping them with projects in Google Slides and other assignments.
Many of my students speak a different language so listening to a story or video translated into their language is a great way for them to understand the new information. These students also use the Google Translate feature to understand the directions I give them and complete the assignments. Please help us learn by allowing us to easily click and listen our way to success. Thank you for your generosity!
