Different students learn in different ways. The students I work with respond very well when I use math manipulatives and games to teach and reinforce math concepts. I believe that EVERY student can learn. In order to maximize those learning opportunities I need to be able to provide a wide range of tools for my students to use on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we do not have enough to go around in our building. We are very short on resources. If my students could each have a set of Fraction/decimal math tiles in our classroom, I could use them to reinforce fraction and decimal equivalency concepts…..and so much more.
