HQ book series are the perfect books for independent learning. The donations to this project will help improve my students' understanding of the history of the world around them. My students are Deaf and hard of hearing so they miss out on important incidental learning skills so they are already at a disadvantage. While they are expected to comprehend and retain the history curriculum, the materials they would use to research are often way too high for them to comprehend independently. These books would enable my students to learn the material required but also give them the independence they crave.
