Owl dissections is one of the greatest hands-on activities my fifth graders participate in. We will use the clipboards to help hold and sort out the bones from the owls prey. If the students are not able to finish sorting through their pellet, the clipboards will ensure that they will not lose any of their bones. Owl pellet dissection is a great way to teach the students about animal habitats. Each day as we finish sorting through the owl pellets, I sanitize the students' work stations with Clorox wipes.
