Our students are amazing fifth graders who have just entered middle school, and they are ready to take on the world -- full of energy and excitement! Many of them have not had the opportunity to consistently experience science education and inquiry prior to fifth grade, as the primary focus of their education so far has been on the skills of reading and math. Now, at the middle school level, the world of science opens up, and the children of our Appalachian community are exposed to new career paths and opportunities!

About my class
