By donating to our project, you will help improve my student's vocabulary, attention, and focus. The Kindle Fire tablets will be used in a listening center. My students can independently use the tablets and scan QR codes to hear a great book being read to them. A great book captures their attention and keeps them engaged, and less disruptive when they are given choices of what to do when they are done working. Being exposed to technology early truly helps their self esteem and makes them feel successful. Although technology is evolving and changing all of the time, the Kindle tablets can be another tool we can use to further develop our love for literature.
