Students will be able to use the equipment to make their own music. The microphone and its accessories, and MIDI controllers (MPK Minis) will allow them to compose songs easily by giving them high quality audio recording and tactile application, respectively. Along with this, the foam paneling will allow me to create a dedicated space for recording so that students have a known area of where they should work with the equipment. The video equipment, such as the webcam and green screen, will give students the opportunity to create fun films to accompany the songs that they compose. Lastly, the portable monitor will allow students to view different screens to project lyrics, videos, etc. while they record or create. They can also use the portable monitor to help share their projects with others easily. With all of this equipment, I believe that students can take their creativity to the next level.
