Flexible seating is an easy way to keep students actively engaged while learning. Everyday, teaching is changing to adapt to individual learning styles for our kids, except for the environment we teach in! Allowing students to wiggle and move is what a real classroom needs to look like! Education is constantly improving, and we should adapt our classrooms to fit what kids need to enhance these learning experiences. When my students are given the opportunity to move and wiggle, they instantly perk up and refocus their attention on learning. By giving my students the opportunity to move and wiggle, I know they will be ready to learn. They are sweet, highly motivated kids that are just wiggle worms! We take many "Brain Breaks" during the day to get out our energy. Flexible seating will make it possible to get the energy out without having as many disruptions.
