My students often require a lot of one on one help during small group activities. Kidney shaped tables would make it easier for an adult to help every student in the group without leaving the other students to work alone. They would also make it easier for all students to collaborate together, share work, and see others' work. Being able to see the teacher at all times will support the students ability to stay focused and engaged in their learning. It will also help to keep every student in the line of site when exploring new materials. Ultimately these tables will make a better learning environment for these young students.
