I have chosen a class set of Spanish-English dictionaries to make the transition from Spanish to English easier for my students. 100% of my students have a home language survey depicting Spanish as their native language. Approximately 1/3 of them are recent immigrants from Mexico. My students show the desire to better their own native language as they begin to master the English language. Having these dictionaries accessible to them year round will allow them to become successful bilingual individuals. Their desire of being successful will be easier if they have the necessary resources available to them. I want to see them shine!
