Students, especially young students, need to learn in an experiential environment where they can manipulate and build through play. With these materials students in 1st and 2nd grades will learn through creating images with foam shapes, building structures with magnetic builders, creating free-standing sculptures with pipes and fittings, and engage with sand in a new way with kinetic sand and more! Ultimately I want students to develop a life-long love of art and learning. Through these engaging activities, students will see art in a new way. They will see that art is more than drawing and painting. It is woven throughout our lives.

About my class
