In many respects, my students are like typical teens. They are bright, curious, funny and playful, while being deeply insecure and anxious about the future and their place in the world. Most of them dream and set goals for a future that is very different from their current circumstances. Some of their goals are lofty and, at times, out of step with their productivity and/or work habits. Yet, their goals are completely attainable with a lot of hard work. Still, many of them have a lot of odds stacked against them. This book is an attempt to give them the necessary tools to thrive.
