Traditional classrooms are long gone. Students are flooding our elementary schools with special needs and it is important that there are accommodations available to all learners. My classroom would greatly benefit from a chair that allows my students to be active and work/listen at the same time. I am requesting 6 wobble stools to replace my traditional classroom chairs. Movement increases individual student engagement. All too often, I have students who are constantly rocking on the back two legs of their chair to meet the desire to move during work or lessons. Sometimes, this will result in a student being hurt or embarrassed for movement out of their control. Wobble chairs will allow my students to move in their area, safely.
