The variety of seating that these resources will add to my classroom will allow all my students to have options and ownership of their learning. Students spend seven hours at school each day- that is too long to spend sitting in a rigid chair! Different students have different sensory needs as well- the variety and choice of these chairs will meet those needs for all students. The wobble chairs and ball seats will also provide built-in movement breaks for students. Students have shown that these movement breaks enhance and support student learning across the board! Choice is an important factor for all students- even elementary. Choice in seating lets students know their voice and needs are heard.
