Your generous donation to our project will improve our K-12 Spanish classrooms by providing us with something we don't have--BOOKS! As we transition from textbook-drilling instruction to comprehensible input and storytelling, we would love to incorporate these short chapter books into our Spanish curriculum. Instead of memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules, students will learn grammar and vocabulary naturally through culturally driven and high interest literature. Books can be used to increase students' interest and acquisition, no matter the skill level of the students! We have done our research on comprehensible input and are ready to put it to action. We just need the resources to do so. Our school budget it tight, and without the help from generous donations, we cannot afford literature sets. Please help us in getting the books we need for a successful Spanish program.
