I believe having appropriate classroom materials insure students optimal learning. Many of my students have difficulty tracking visual information on a chalkboard. My special education students benefit from teachers color coding and organizing all visual information. I have been writing all assignments on a chalkboard and I typically have to clarify what is on the board, due to writing in chalk. My students have difficulty retaining information and I believe having a white board will help them organize information in a easier way. We need to give students appropriate learning materials in order for them to meet their ultimate potential.
