The resource I chose is the Wobble Chair Bundle from Lakeshore Learning. If this project is funded, it will allow my students to have an age-appropriate option for flexible seating in their classroom. Many students have difficulty remaining focused and on task for lengthy periods of time. Active movement breaks, while necessary, mean they often miss instruction. These chairs will allow for movement breaks while students remain seated at the same time so that they are able to attend to the lesson for longer periods. This flexible seating will help students better focus on their assignments and increase participation in their general education classrooms. Flexible seating can improve students' attention in the classroom in regard to their work, their peers, and their teachers.
