My students and I are looking for a new rug for the classroom. A rug with bright colored squares for each child to sit allows that "personal space" needed during carpet time. Students love to have their own space. Being comfortable when on the floor is important and our library space is small so having a nice carpet for the kiddos to sit on is another outlet they can use and enjoy their reading time. I love seeing my students happy and feel this would increase their listening skills which intern helps with comprehensions skills, behavior, and overall moral of the classroom.
