Scooter Boards will help my students during our social distancing play time outside. They will benefit from tons of sensory integration skills (bilateral coordination, crossing the mid-line, and integrating reflexes) while having fun with their classmates. Higher level sensory integration will improve sensory processing and help my students to focus, listen and learn. Scooter Boards will provide opportunity to develop core strength, upper body strength and ultimately refine the fine motor skills of the hands. Used in games, Scooter Boards will help the students with listening skills, directionality words, and body awareness all while having fun outside.
