This year, Biology and Art classes are being added to the curriculum for our students with multiple/intellectual disabilities. As these classes are new to our program, we are starting with no materials and a very limited budget. These talented students deserve an enriching experience where they can explore their world, and expand their array of natural talents. My goal is to bring our studies to life with hands-on activities that engage and awaken their minds in classes they can genuinely enjoy. They do not let their disabilities stop them from achieving their goals. Let's raise enough funds so that the lack of essential supplies doesn't either. The microscopes and magnifying glasses will allow my students to explore the science of Biology up close and hands-on. The remade slides that come with the microscope and the specimens will allow them to see tiny details of how insects and creatures are made. The owl pellets will allow my students to experience dissection. All the art supplies will allow them to create works of art that they will be proud to display. Thank you in advance for your generous contributions.
