These materials will help students become critical and independent thinkers. STEM helps students develop skills that include creatvity, curiosity, decision making, leadership, entrepreneurship, and also acceptance of failure. They also learn to try again when a project does not succeed. Many jobs today require these skills. It is important for students to learn these skills early on so that they can continue to develop these skills throughout their lifetime. As teachers, it is our job to help prepare students for the future. That is the reason I feel it is so important to have as many STEM activities as possible for students.
