Osmo will be used in my classroom as an independent center during small group instruction. Osmo helps children learn to collaborate, create, think critically, and communicate because children work together. The activities get harder as they master them. My students will not only have activities to help them with reading, but also with math. These are both critical areas in first grade. Using Osmo, the children are able to manipulate letter tiles to spell words when a picture pops up on the screen. They are also able to do the same with number tiles. Our children live in a technological world and we must provide them with all means possible to learn with technology.
