First graders are full of wiggles! At the ripe young ages of 6 and 7 they are constantly in motion and need opportunities to move and wiggle while they work. There has been a lot of research conducted on the importance of allowing students to move while they learn. By offering flexible seating, my students can build core strength while they work in different positions. I currently offer my students a few flexible seating options like floor cushions, and ball chair, but I would love to provide more options. Hokki stools are a different seating option my students do not have access to yet. Please help my kiddos spin, rock, and wiggle while we learn on Hokki stools!
