My students would use their kindles DAILY as we partake in a program called I-ready which uses daily modules to assess and monitor growth over our academic standards. We are living in a rapidly fast paced world with technology the forefront. By providing them with the exposure and tools they need to succeed. They will be prepared to confront any content and any technology placed in front of them. By being able to provide my class with adequate technology I can arm them better for the world in which they are growing up into. That is the true downfall of a rural area, due to low tax brackets and poor socio-economic status we cannot always provide the same technological opportunities as our more urban peers.
