The tennis court equipment will help to inspire my students to come out and play tennis. One of our tennis nets is beginning to get holes in it which makes it hard to play on. A net with holes in it is also dangerous when the students are playing doubles or at the net. I also want good equipment, such as a ballhopper, so my students will be proud and take ownership in our program. The smaller net will let me continue working with elementary kids to help them learn to love the sport of tennis. I can also let the elementary school PE teachers use it to introduce their students to the game.
