These materials will allow all the students in my classroom to focus on tasks at hand by giving them choices as to how they would like to work. This includes cushions that can be used close to the floor or on a chair, wobbly chairs, lap desks, and exercise balls. The freedom of choice is essential to students learning so giving them a choice of how and where they can work is already starting the learning process on a positive note! The sensory experiences that some of these objects provide is crucial to quite a few of my students. They love the fidget toys and special seating that we already have in the classroom, so I know that these products will be adored by the students.
