I have never tried flexible seating before, but have heard other teachers praise the idea. I want to try it out in my class to see if it helps. Students can wobble in their chair and get the wiggles out while still focusing on my lessons. My second graders can get very fidgety, especially in the afternoons. I would like to have these wobble cushions and soft seats available for kids to use. I'm hoping that by wiggling around on the cushion and seats, their brain will be freed up to concentrate on learning. Besides, it will add some color and fun to the class environment.
