I am trying to help my special education students use technology daily. Many websites have the ability to "read" text to students, and have media sources that supplement text and give students background knowledge(that they typically don't have) on passages. Most of our headphones are small, old, don't fit, and are very uncomfortable. We share about 30 headphones with the entire school of 325 students. Our kindergarten classes currently have the headphones for the little ones. If I need them, I have to borrow them for an hour, then return them to the other side of the building. Without headphones, the noise level of students' devices is very distracting.
