One of the ways I like to engage my students and foster a love of reading is by reading to them. Some of our best moments as a class are on the classroom carpet talking about books. I can see the wonder in my students' eyes when we jump into a whole new world together by reading a book. Unfortunately, our classroom rug is not a comfortable space for us to all fit and enjoy a good book together. I am hoping to create a more comfortable environment with a larger rug so we have more room to read together
