When teaching beginning readers it is important that they master sight words so they can continue improving. Phonemic awareness activities are also an important component to become successful readers. Having hands-on literacy materials helps to foster their love of learning! The magnetic activity tin will allow the children to manipulate materials and the sight word puzzles will engage them as they work cooperatively to build words. As the children use the whisper phones, they will be thrilled to hear themselves read. Using hands-on math manipulatives will also be a great benefit to their learning. The snap and slide number bonds will be a great motivational tool.
