Flexible seating has been shown to increase concentration and enhance learning for students. Who reads best sitting in a traditional desk? Comfy seating makes reading for longer periods possible which helps with comprehension. The couch, rocking stools and bean bag chairs make seating options for individual, partner and small group projects all possible. This flexibility improves communication and learning for the whole class. While I have begun this project with my own funds I am unable to purchase any more items for this at this time due to a family health crisis Many of my students learn best in non traditional ways. This project will allow for the creation of an exceptional learning environment for some very deserving students.

About my class
