Each student will make three projects in five days. The first project will be a tote box for organizing hand tools and Personal Protective Equipment. The second project will be a custom cedar bird house in which each student designs their own model. The last project will be a decorative hardwood cutting board. Students will walk away from this class with three personal projects, several career opportunities, and a passion for wood working. These experiences will help students connect the content they learn in school with real life applications. This also gives our most tactile learners a chance to demonstrate their talents in a hands on setting.
