My students and I would love to have age-appropriate books to enjoy together. Since children are naturally drawn to books, this makes them the perfect resource to utilize when teaching the important topics of Mindfulness and Growth Mindset. The books we have chosen tell stories that my students will be able to relate to, and can make connections to their own lives. A few of the books also include activities for the students to participate in while practicing being mindful. I strongly believe that by teaching these skills to children, we can dramatically change the trajectory of some of their lives to a more positive outcome. They will be more in touch with themselves, and also become more aware of how to interact with the people around them and become a positive role model in society.
