Using these calculators, each lesson will incorporate gaining mastery with the TI 84 CEs as a mathematical tool. In every class we will use pencil and paper to solve different types of problems, but then also learn about how to solve using the calculators. When students can learn about solving a problems by hand, double checking their solving with the calculator's solution and then see the solution on a graph... that is a powerful expansion in understanding. With a classroom set of 10 calculators each of my classes throughout the day will have access to these calculators and learn to grow with the calculators as they expand their understanding. Go Students!! Go Mathematics!!
