Imagine not being able to verbally communicate with the world around you. It would be frustrating wouldn't it. My students would like to be able to communicate with those around them. With the use of several AAC devices in our classroom, many of my students will be able to learn how to communicate with their classmates and teachers. Not only will my students benefit from their devices but so will other students who love them. They would have a way to communicate back and forth with their peers. The iPads will be used with an AAC program to teach my students how to communicate with pictures.
