It's hard to describe my students with one blanket statement -- aside from saying they bring joy into my life in one way or another. At the Title I campus where I teach, many students face hardships both at school and at home. Despite their home life, my students come to school with drive and diligence. My students may not have everything that they need to be ready for the day, but they always show up ready to learn! Additionally, my students come from a variety of backgrounds. My school is located less than ten miles away from one of the largest Army installations in the United States and is less than five miles away from the U.S./Mexico border. My students are creative and full of life. I know that with the proper resources in their hands, their learning experience can be taken to a whole different level.
