We are requesting a nice colorful rug, not only for sitting comfortably during our Group Time but also to help learn shapes and colors. Not only, will this rug make a bright addition to our classroom but it will also serve as a learning tool during our Math and Reading times throughout the day. We will be able to play many shape and color recognition games using this colorful rug and also complete various graphing activities with this rug. It will help us to distinguish groups during our reading stations and allow us to spread out and read comfortably in our classroom. This rug will also help aide in the community building aspect of our classroom by allowing 25 students to sit together for those share and talk sessions and to build relationships with one another.
