My students work in a lab setting with regular chairs at computer stations. I have purchased six chairs out of pocket ($600) to allow for some flexible seating. However, even with those additional options, I am limited on what I offer students in our room. I wish for students to have a more flexible seating arrangement when engaged in my classroom. We do pair and group work often, and our current seating is limiting. This venture would allow for seating that would have more options for our students. Students sit in similar seats that are in my room most of the day as the chairs in our school are the same throughout. I would love for my room to be a break for the norm with an opportunity for students to move to different locations to work. Our students recently have been given access to Chrombooks and could use the new seating options in place of their current seats.
