I have many students who benefit from alternative seating. Some students feel the need to "move" while working in class and standard metal chairs at their tables don't work well. The students love alternative seating in my classroom which motivates them and helps them focus on their work. It is also very beneficial for group work. I set up different stations with different types of alternative seating and these stools would be GREAT for that! At this time the kiddos are sitting on rugs and pillows and mats, but these stools could really be a game changer. This is my second year of using alternative seating and after such a short time I can tell the benefits are immeasurable.
