Our students are very interested in Lego, robotics and hands on projects. We currently organize grade level STEM days once per month where students rotate through four activities. The excitement and engagement are amazing. Students that do not always excel in other areas and stand out with hands-on project based learning. Working with the coding robots will help us meet our new Next Generation Science Standards. These will help our students be more competitive with other area students who are at STEM schools. They will also gain practical skills to help them understand how things operate. Additionally, students will learn cooperation, team work and gain necessary problem solving skills.

About my class
