This is my first year teaching and my students need extra help and tools in order to succeed in their daily school activities. By providing my classroom with these materials my students will be given the tools necessary to help them in their sensory, gross, and fine motor skills. For example, the rainbow liquid sensory viewer and the sensory play materials can help them during sensory breaks and to calm down, while the number and letter stamps can help them with number and letter identification especially for my students who cannot write or even hold a pencil. The sensory and adaptive materials are tools for my students to reach their potential in order to be successful. The different materials provide various entry point to learning, giving them more of a chance to be successful in the classroom and relieving a lot of frustrations they feel daily.
