My students absolutely love playing percussion instruments. They will be elated with joy if they were to receive these beautiful djembes. I have a lot of experience playing these instruments and I know I can teach a fun curriculum of world drumming and even incorporate a djembe performance at our schools Winter/Spring concerts. As a title one school in New York City, we do not have the same resources as other schools. However, my students make the best of what they are given and appreciate what they have. Even though they are happy with their bucket drums- I know they will benefit greatly by having a whole new realm of possibilities open to them with djembe drums.
