Let's Find Out and Science Spin magazines get Kindergarten students eager to read and learn. Each issue brings a seasonal Social Studies and/or Science topic to life with exciting nonfiction and colorful, real-world photos! Using simple, predictable texts, Let's Find Out and Science Spin both build fundamental reading skills like concepts of print, sight words, and phonics. Complete with Big issues, posters, and interactive online features, they are both comprehensive and engaging ways to build the knowledge and skills my students need. We will use these weekly in our science and social studies block to further enhance student learning. These will also be very beneficial to my ELL students as they are learning new concepts and will have real pictures to match the new vocabulary they are learning daily.
