I create a ton of projects that can be reused daily during center time. Velcro dots make creating these projects so much easier they just peel and stick. They also save my scissors which become sticky and dull from cutting Velcro strips. For example, during reading comprehension, I create a sequencing chart with images of the story to have them re-create the story in order by placing on a felt board. Since many of my students do not have basic communication or writing skills, this is an effective tool for them to retell a story. We also use these dots for creating math counting boards, spelling boards, and visual schedules, and many other laminated academic materials.
