By having access to hands-on materials such as the Model Human Body Anatomy, Model Skeleton, Model Heart Anatomy, and Double-sided Magnetic Human Body will hold the attention of my students while providing accurate information in an exciting manner. Materials will be used to teach a science unit on Human Body Systems as part of our 5th grade curriculum. My students are not able to read text independently, so providing them with models that they are able to handle and manipulate provides an exciting way for them to learn and understand how the human body works. The Body Book will provide a way for my students to take notes so that when they review the information for end of grade testing, it will be visual as well as providing information on how the body systems work together to keep us healthy.
