This year, I have been utilizing flexible seating in my classroom. My students have loved it. I am using metal stools, plastic crates, stability balls, wobble discs, and regular chairs. Each table has different seating. I even use four plastic trays with cushions. Everyday the children rotate tables. Therefore, allowing each student to have a turn with the different seating. However, the stools have already broken, the lap trays have cracked, and the cushions are coming apart at the seams. After seeing how great the flexible seating is working, I have decided it is time to get a better quality of seating.
