Most of the students in my classroom do not have access to computers or internet at home. Our school only has two computer labs, which makes it extremely difficult for teachers to plan activities that are technology based. This means that many of my students lack skills that are required for college, such as the ability to research using Internet databases. In addition, many of my students struggle to find the time to complete college applications because they do not have access to online applications. By choosing to donate to this project, you will be giving my classroom five tablets that students can use for completing technology based group projects, researching for academic papers, and applying to colleges.
